Subject: Chloroform Application - Georgia-Pacific's Crossett Paper Operations

Loretta,

This email is in follow-up to our conversation yesterday, in reference to the Chloroform sampling reduction application submitted by Georgia-Pacific’s Crossett Paper Operation, NPDES # AR0001210.  I have confirmed that we do have in line pH probes going to the washers.  In addition we also check the Vat pH manually.  We also have in line Kappa samplers.  Manual tests are also run as a back up.  We measure the % of ClO2 applied by monitoring the flow of ClO2 per ton of pulp.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
